Long Trail Ale

Long Trail Ale is a full-bodied amber ale modeled after the "Alt-biers" of Dusseldorf, Germany. Our top-fermenting yeast and cold finishing temperature result in a complex, yet clean, full flavor.

Double Bag

This malty, full-bodied double alt is also known as "Stickebier", which is German slang for "secret brew".

IPA

Real IPA, as it was first brewed in the days of the British Empire, was not the carefully filtered brew that we call IPA today. The first IPA's were unfiltered and featured extra hops and higher strength as a preservative for the long trip from England to the colony of India. Our Traditional IPA is naturally carbonated, dry-hopped and unfiltered like the old days.

Sick Day IPA

An unlfiltered IPA built for winter's deepest days, "Sick Day" IPA is knee-deep in piney, spicy hop flavors and nicely balanced by a warming, toasty malt presence that'll warm your soul after a day in the snow. Grab your gear and call out, because some days are too good to miss. Enjoy a "Sick Day" this winter.

Limbo IPA

A big, mouth-watering IPA, brimming with all the flavors and aroma of the new breed of hops coming out of Australia and the Pacific Northwest. Hops: Bravo, Chinook, Galaxy, Mosaic.

Brown Bag

A rotating series of different beers. The Brown Bag Concept was developed in 1993 as a method for developing and test marketing new products quickly and affordably. Beer styles that emerged from the program include Double Bag and Hit the Trail Brown Ale. The Brown Bag program was retired in the early 90’s, but the tradition lives on today as our Brewmasters share their latest creations inspired by the world around us.

Ramble

Brewed in traditional Kölschbier style, this beer has a clean, refreshing flavor profile, with strong citrusy and mild peppery notes deriving from the use of lemon rind and ground peppercorns in the brewing process.

Harvest

In celebration of the autumn harvest we’ve brewed this brown ale with locally harvested Vermont ingredients... a truly unique Taste of Vermont™!

Belgian Wheat

This Belgian White Ale is modeled after the original Belgian Witbiers brewed in monasteries during the early 14th century. The soft notes of citrus and spice are topped with a light, fluffy head that finishes clean and crisp. This fresh and natural ale is our summer seasonal brew, perfect for lounging lake-side or celebrating trail’s end.

Double Wheat

Long Trail Double White is an unfiltered ale brewed with hints of coriander and orange peel. The soft notes of citrus and spice are topped with a light fluffy head that finishes clean and crisp.

Imperial Pumpkin

Long Trail Imperial Pumpkin Ale is the latest introduction to the Long Trail Brewmaster Series. This limited release seasonal treat is small batch brewed with pumpkins, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and cloves with increased malts and a touch of bitterness for the perfect balance.

Centennial Red

Brewed to celebrate 100 years of the oldest hiking trail in North America, The Long Trail, this ale features a slightly sweet malt flavor directly balanced by the use of Centennial hops. This "bigger beer" goes down smooth. Indulge in moderation!

Hibernator

This abundance of barley and Scotland’s exclusion from England’s malt tax of the 1700’s gave brewers the opportunity to brew a hearty barley rich beer.
