J.W. Kelly
Old Milford Straight Bourbon
PROCESS
J. W. Kelly’s use of old-world pot distillation and custom mixture of corn, malted rye, and barley is unique to their brand. Their selections are distilled in 3,000-gallon pot stills to enrich the bold characteristics of Old Milford. The technique results in a smooth finish that has lasted throughout the centuries.
TASTING NOTES
Old Milford touts spicy flavors and notes of oak, white pepper, vanilla and English toffee. Enjoy it neat, with a few drops of water or in a Manhattan. Either way you choose, Old Milford will be your go-to spirit for important milestones or any night of the week. Delight your senses with a taste of history in each bottle, down to the last drop.
CASK PROFILE
Two-year-old air dried wood cask.
Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey
PROCESS
The Single Barrel Select is produced entirely in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The Select ages between five and eight years in a white oak barrel before being transferred to a heavily toasted second barrel, made exclusively for this label. The bourbon ages there for up to a year, defining heavy notes of vanilla. This may be purchased by the case or barrel.
TASTING NOTES
The Select limited edition single barrel is 109-proof. Customers may choose their own barrels with unique flavors, resulting in cask-strength bourbon. The finish product is sweet with notes of vanilla, caramel and nutmeg. We recommend enjoying this neat or on the rocks.
CASK PROFILE
Second barrel is heavily toasted with flash-charred process to finish.
Melrose Straight Rye Whiskey
PROCESS
Melrose was one of J.W. Kelly’s original bourbons produced nearly two centuries ago. The recipe has been revived and improved by incorporating one of Italy’s most iconic wines. Master blenders mix the American whiskey and fermented grapes to create a balanced whiskey with a twist. They age together in a 15-year-old cask, creating spicy and bold flavors. Melrose is the sole label to blend the celebrated wine and American whiskey to create a deliciously unique flavor.
TASTING NOTES
Intense aromatics set the stage for vivid flavors that explore dark, fruity notes, licorice and chocolate. Our full-bodied Melrose is well-suited for pairings with steak and other beef, pork and poultry dishes. It also complements most cheeses.
CASK PROFILE
Aged in fifteen-year-old Amarone wine casks.
